Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the FoxtInn platform and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account.

1. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
• Transmit, store, or process unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, or harassing content.
• Distribute malware, viruses, trojan horses, spyware, or malicious code.
• Engage in phishing, social engineering, or identity theft.
• Send unsolicited bulk communications (spam).
• Attempt unauthorized access to the Service, accounts, or connected systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including denial-of-service attacks.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features, rate limits, or usage restrictions.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data without authorization.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Sublicense, sell, resell, or redistribute the Service without prior written consent.
• Process data subject to regulatory requirements (HIPAA, PCI DSS) without executing the appropriate addendum.
• Use AI Features to generate misleading, fraudulent, or harmful content.
• Input prompts designed to manipulate, jailbreak, or extract system-level instructions from AI Features.

2. Usage Limits

To ensure fair use and service stability:

• API Rate Limits: Published in our API documentation. Exceeding limits results in temporary throttling (HTTP 429).
• Storage: Accounts exceeding 50 GB may be asked to reduce usage or upgrade.

FoxtInn may adjust usage limits with 30 days’ notice.

3. Content Standards

Customer Content must not include:

• Content infringing patents, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights, or other IP rights.
• Content violating any person’s right of privacy or publicity.
• False, misleading, or deceptive content.
• Sensitive personal data (SSN, government IDs, health records) unless a compliance addendum is in place.
• Content promoting illegal activities or substances.

4. Enforcement

FoxtInn may investigate suspected violations. Enforcement actions include:

• Warning notification to the account owner.
• Temporary suspension of features or the entire account.
• Permanent termination.
• Reporting to law enforcement where required.

FoxtInn will make reasonable efforts to notify the account owner before taking action, except where immediate action is necessary.
